JULIA KAY

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, services, and use of works created by Julia Kay (Julia Kravtsova), hereafter referred to as the Artist. By booking an appointment or engaging with the Artist’s work, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Deposits

• All tattoo appointments require a deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final price of the tattoo.

• If a client reschedules at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the appointment, the deposit can be re-applied to a new date.

• Rescheduling within less than 14 days requires a new deposit.

• Cancellations or failure to attend without notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

• The Artist reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking at their sole discretion.

2. Pricing & Payments

• Prices are agreed individually and may vary depending on design complexity, size, and placement.

• All payments must be made on the day of the appointment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Final prices are subject to adjustment in case of significant design or session changes.

3. Health & Liability

• Clients must be at least 18 years old. A valid ID may be required.

• Clients are responsible for informing the Artist of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or medications prior to the appointment.

• The Artist cannot be held liable for complications arising from undisclosed medical issues or improper aftercare.

• Aftercare instructions will be provided and must be followed. The Artist is not responsible for the healing process once the tattoo is completed.

4. Creative Process

• All custom tattoo designs are created exclusively for the booked client.

• Minor adjustments can be made on the day of the appointment, but substantial redesigns may require rescheduling and an additional fee.

• The Artist reserves the right to refuse to tattoo designs that do not align with their artistic practice, values, or professional judgment.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

• All works, including tattoo designs, artworks, photographs, graphics, and digital representations, are the exclusive intellectual property of Julia Kay (Julia Kravtsova), unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Design Rights: Clients are granted a personal, non-transferable right to have the design tattooed by the Artist. All copyrights, reproduction rights, and modification rights remain strictly with the Artist.

• Image Usage: The Artist reserves the right to document and publish photographs of tattoos and artworks for portfolio, promotional, and editorial purposes (including online and print). Clients wishing to withhold their tattoo from public representation must notify the Artist in advance.

• Restrictions: Any copying, reproduction, resale, distribution, adaptation, or commercial exploitation of designs, images, or artworks without prior written consent from the Artist is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

6. Studio Rules

• Clients must arrive on time for their appointment. Significant delays may result in rescheduling and loss of deposit.

• Guests are not permitted in the tattoo area unless agreed upon beforehand.

• Alcohol, drugs, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate cancellation of the appointment without refund.

7. Disclaimer

Tattooing is a body modification procedure. While the Artist takes all necessary precautions to ensure hygiene and safety, clients acknowledge that risks such as allergic reactions, skin irritation, scarring, or infection are possible. By booking, the client accepts these risks.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hamburg.
